About The Who
Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be joined by Simon Townshend, Loren Gold, Jon Button and Zak Starkey (son of the Beatles' Ringo Starr), on the Moving On! Tour. Formed in London, England in 1964, The Who is an English rock band rose to fame with their popular albums, My Generation and A Quick One. The original line-up consisted of lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and singer Pete Townshend, bass guitarist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. In 1969 The Who released the rock opera Tommy.
