About Tim McGraw
Tim McGraw was born in 1967 in Delhi, LA. He has been married to fellow singer Faith Hill since 1996, and is the son of a waitress and the late baseball player Tug McGraw. McGraw went to college on a baseball scholarship, but he quickly became interested in music instead. In 1989, McGraw decided to drop out of college and head to Nashville in order to pursue a full-time career in music.
McGraw immediately earned success in Nashville with his breakthrough album Not a Moment Too Soon being the top country album of 1994. This album contained the hits "Indian Outlaw," "Don't Take the Girl," "Down on the Farm," "Not a Moment Too Soon," and "Refried Dreams." McGraw's next album, All I Want, came out a year later in 1995 and debuted at the top of the country charts once again. The album contained the hits "I Like It, I Love It," "Can't Be Really Gone," "All I Want Is a Life," "She Never Lets It Go to Her Heart," and "Maybe We Should Just Sleep on It." In 1996, Tim McGraw went on the Spontaneous Combustion Tour with a country music lady by the name of Faith Hill, the two performers were married later that year.
McGraw has released 14 studio albums. 10 of those albums have reached number 1 on the Top Country Albums charts.
McGraw has been very active lately, releasing an album every 18 months since early 2013 and charting a number of songs at or near the top of the airplay charts. He has also gotten into the acting world and starred in movies such as, Friday Night Lights and The Blind Side.
