About Indigo Girls
Formed in Atlanta, GA in 1985, the Indigo Girls are a Grammy Award-winning folk rock music American duo consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. The two met in elementary school and started performing together while students at Emory University. The Indigo Girls gained national fame with the release of their first five albums selling out venues across the country.
