About the College Football Playoff National Championship

The College Football Playoff National Championship is the final game of the College Football Playoff (CFP) and determines the NCAA Division I national football champions. The game took place for the first time as part of the 2014 college football season. The College Football Championship game was played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.

The Ohio State Buckeyes beat out the Oregon Ducks 42-20. In 2016, the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Clemson Tigers 45-40 in a unbelievable comeback win at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Standup comedian Christopher Julius Rock III was born on February 7, 1965 in Andrews, SC. Rock is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director. Forecastle Festival Announces Headliners LCD Soundsystem, Weezer and Odesza

The Forecastle Festival will take place at the Louisville Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY on July 14-16.

Journey Announces New Residency in Las Vegas

Journey residency returns to The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino May 3, 5-6, 10, 12-13, 17 and 19. The Wednesday shows (May 3, 10 and 17) feature Journey performing its seventh studio album, 1981’s Escape, and its eighth studio album, 1983’s Frontier, in their entirety.

Journey was formed in 1973 in San Francisco, CA. It was made up of former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch. Between 1978 and 1987 the band reached high success with singles like “Don’t Stop Believin'”, which in 2009 became the top-selling track on iTunes. Journey’s album, Escape, the band’s eighth album, became their most successful and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Journey’s concerts began selling out coast-to-coast and fans were flocking to find concert tickets as quick as they could. After a successful next couple of albums, the band broke up, however, they later regrouped with a series of lead singers.

In the summer of 2007, Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon began searching YouTube for a new lead singer. The band hired Filipino singer Arnel Pineda of the cover band The Zoo

Stevie Nicks has extended her solo tour named “24 Karat Gold Tour” in 2017 and kicking it all off on February 23rd in Reno, NV.

Stevie Nicks is an American singer and songwriter from Phoenix, AZ. Best known for her work with Fleetwood Mac and an extensive solo career, which have produced her over 40 top-50 hits and sold over 140 million albums. Touring around the country Steve Nicks continues to sell-out venues nationwide!

Nicks began singing at an early age and began songwriting in her teens. In high school she was a member of a band named Fritz which is where she met future bandmate, Lindsay Buckingham. Soon after joining Fleetwood Mac (in 1975) the popularity of the band took off with the release of their self-entitled album. The album contained the hit singles, “Over My Head,” “Rhiannon” and “Say You Love Me.”

In 1977 the band released the album, Rumours, which gave the band international fame. The album went on to sell 30 million copies and win the 1978 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

Nicks has also written and toured as a solo artist. With hit albums like Bella Donna which contained the single “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around”, Nicks is now more popular than ever. As a solo artist, she has garnered eight Grammy Award nominations, and with Fleetwood Mac, another five.

She was deemed “the Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll” and one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time” by Rolling Stone, and as a member of Fleetwood Mac, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
