About Children of Bodom
Formed in 1993, Children of Bodom is a metal band from Finland. Their music has been described as melodic death metal, power metal, and thrash metal. The group currently consists of Alexi Laiho, Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, Jaska Raatikainen and Daniel Freyberg. In total, they have released nine studio albums and two live albums.
The band's third studio album, Follow the Reaper, brought the band international fame. The album received a Gold certification in Finland.
